Access 2. 00. 7 Split.Form Set. Focus method not working for controls on Form.Detail Error 2. 11.Hi All,Hope you can help me.Please excuse me if I am not very elaborate in my discussing this, I just spend over an hour constructing a question about this only to have my query lost when the page expired whilst returning from preview mode to make an edit. The basic question is how does one set focus to a control in the detail of a Split.Form in datasheetview loaded with records from a button on the Form.Header I am capturing the name of the active control in the On.Got. Focus event of the controls in the Form.Detail associated with the recordset.I am trying to jump to fields with similar names in the Form.Detail which is in Datasheet view.I constructed the name for the target control from the name of the original control in the controls Got.Focus event. It is successfully saved in the variable called mstr.Cntrl. Name. The code below causes an Error 2.Cant move the focus to the control control name when it hits the line with Set.Focus in it. Private Sub cmd.JumpClickDebug. Print mstr.Cntrl. Name mstr.Cntrl. Name If Not mstr.Cntrl. Name vb. Null.String Then Me.Significantly Improve the Performance of Microsoft Access Databases with Linked Tables by keeping an open connection to the backend database with the linked tables.Recordset. Bookmark Get.Rcrd. Bookmark. Me.Controlsmstr. Cntrl.C1.jpg' alt='Microsoft Access On Error Goto Visual Basic' title='Microsoft Access On Error Goto Visual Basic' />Name.Set. Focus. End If.End Sub. I can test, in the immediate pane, that the target control name is correct and exists.I can, and have proven to myself, in the immediate pane, that the target control is visible and enabled.I can, successfully, use the same code to set focus to a control on the Form.Header. There is no Set.Focus method for the Form.Detail and I have attempted to try setting the forms recordset to a saved while still in the original controls On. Fl Studio 9 Signature Bundle 2010 Pc Shooting . Got. Focus event bookmark in an attempt to activate the Form.Detail section. Nothing seems to work.Any ideas Thanks in advance,Stephen.
